IBD 2025-03 – Wingsuit Competition Rules Clarification

The ISC outdoor skydiving competition rules for 2025 have been posted on the ISC website, and were in effect from March 1st, 2025.   Since that time, it had come to the attention of the Wingsuit Flying Committee that some further clarification was required regarding Wingsuit measurement (Addendum D of the WS Competition Rules).     The Committee would like to reiterate that this is not a new rule, but is only clarification of the definition that is in SC5 (1.1.2.16).

The ISC Bureau has taken the decision to issue an Interim Bureau Decision (IBD) to clarify and align the Wingsuit Completion Rules with the Sporting Code Section 5 and thus avoiding misinterpretations.   Version 2 of the Wingsuit Competition Rules 2025 will be uploaded on the FAI/ISC Documents page.
