ISC Judge Training Opportunities

Due to the lack of competitions and competition experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ISC Judges Committee encourages ALL FAI/ISC judges to practice and train on their own, using competition video and other documents where available.

To this end, the Video Librarian (Tamara Koyn) is providing free access to the ISC competition archives for qualified judges. The archives allow access to video and documentation from FAI FCE competitions during 2018 and 2019.

To access these archives, please contact the Chair of the ISC Judges Committee with your request. Please include your email address and the disciplines you wish to access. You will then receive access information directly from Tamara Koyn.

After your practice and training, if you have any questions, you can contact the following ISC Judges Committee members for clarification on the original results (known here as  “discipline referents”).

If, for some reason, one of these judges is currently not available, they will refer you to another competent judge for clarification. We hope that ISC judges will take this opportunity to maintain their skills and level of competence required of an FAI/ISC judge.
