Day 6: 21 August 2014
The thunderous close to yesterday's jumping was echoed this morning and it soon became clear that the stand downs would be lengthy. The internet connections were very hit and miss throughout the day, probably as a consequence of localised storms, and not helped by the number of stood down jumpers needing their daily fix of social media sites.
The rain eased but the cloud base remained low for the rest of the day, finally the CF competitors were released along with the Junior accuracy jumpers and finally at around 6pm the first load of Senior accuracy took to the skies. Tomorrow sees the final day of competition, so it's a fingers crossed situation as far as the weather is concerned.
